Dan Wandala Mabachi

My name is Dan and I am 14 year old boy from Marinda Village. Because my father was an orphan, he had no one to educate him. For most of his early life he looked after cattle. When my father married my mother, she was a maid in the home where my father worked. Because of this their boss sent them away. Since then they settled at another village where they sustained themselves by selling sweets.

Life in primary school was difficult for me as I was only able to go to school for a few short periods. When in school, I performed well in all subjects, but especially Social Studies and Religious Studies. I never got scores below the 80%. I participate in volleyball and football.

My goal is to study and work hard to become a motor vehicle engineer. My hope is that I am able to achieve my goals so that I can support my parents, who are really struggling.
